For the fishermen who we pleased to always fish in continental waters we will have in mind to dedicate part of our trips of fishing to the search of a species of delicious meat and that will be a fact, all an adventure will attack to us.
To the species to which I will dedicate to him words will be the Rainbow Bass sport fishing lure, known scientifically like Parachromis Dovii.

KNOWING Rainbow Bass
1. FAMILY CICHLIDAE

the Rainbow Bass belongs to the great Cichlidae family and this one as well conforms more than 1300 species, divided in 105 sorts.
The fossil registries of the Cichlidae Family, in general indicate us that this species dates from the Eocene, and is a species adapted to the present conditions in the Tropical of Central America, where the temperatures oscillate between 22°C and 33°C.
For the case that is incumbent on to us in the present writing, relevance to the Rainbow Bass sport fishing lure or Parachromis Dovii, known also like Rainbow Bass, the previous dice will occur him to that it is the species of more size and forces, reason why is considered like everything a challenge for all sport fisherman.

4. FEEDING
the Rainbow Bass sport fishing lure is essentially carnivorous, where its diet this composing by smaller fish, like for example, crappies,  sardines without leaving of side, insects and crustaceans.
The previous thing does not mean that they are going to ignore a frog or a succulent mouse.
They please to feed itself mainly very early the dawn or at dusk or in its defect in days somewhat dimmed diminishing its activity when advancing the day and becoming to reactivate in the evening.

Their habitat
the Rainbow Bass can be found so much in pools of rivers with good volume, like in lakes or lagoons and these last ones they are possible to be fished as much in the surface as depths that perfectly can oscillate between the 2 and 5 meters.
For the particular case of the Rainbow Bass sport fishing lure, always it will be found in lagoons where they please to happen merged taking advantage of its color and tonalities, near submerged structures and roots or closely together of the surface, under the aquatic irises.
